Pulp Series

IMG_5695.jpg

Testing the structural abilities of plant pulp. A process that began by assessing the plants in their living stages, then harvesting, cooking, beating and straining the fibers to create an adaptable pulp. A process similar to that of making paper, except the assembly and layering of the fibers, in three-dimensional form, allow for a more resistant material. The fibers, usually composed to create a pliable or delicate material, are now presented along found, rusty-metallic objects.
